James kept us updated weekly with market details, views our property were getting online/on apps & got viewing feedback for us the next working day. He fought our corner every step of the way when we found a buyer too & was friendly and professional throughout the whole process.

Communication was mostly done through Email & at times WhatsApp. This kept things stress free, casual & so it didn't feel like a spam of calls were coming in. The emails also didn't feel like spam & always felt like they were important and informative for our property.

I thoroughly recommend James Gorey Estate Agent. From the very first meeting with James it was clear he was very professional, friendly and enthusiastic. He was far more upbeat and positive about the housing market at the time than other agents and gave me confidence that he and his team would achieve a good price for the property I was looking to sell. The whole process felt less stressful than I had imagined it would be despite some challenges along the way and that was down to the way James and his team managed everything so well. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Where to start? I have heard many stories of bad experiences with estate agents so was not expecting much. James has far exceeded those expectations and more. He was constantly there to help and guide with a calm demeanour and a smile on his face. Whenever I had any concerns he calmly talked me through them and even came round to help me with the paperwork! I cannot praise him highly enough and thoroughly recommend him.

The moment we met James whilst valuing our property, we knew we would list with him - his property knowledge and local area insight and experience proved we were in safe hands.

After that initial visit, the property was on sale with professional pictures and floor plan within 48 hours! We then found our dream house online and then the pressure was on to find a buyer for us a buyer in rapid time, to ensure we didn’t miss out! James genuinely cares about every house and family he is serving and made me feel at complete ease and the service was so personal it made us feel like we were his own clients (judging by the amount of James Gorey - Sold boards outside houses in our area - we knew this certainly wasn’t the case)! Every phone called answered, messages sent and emails replied to - unlike other agents, where you are just a number to them and a commission in their pocket.

From start to finish James Gorey Estate Agent managed and supported our Sale splendidly. Their assistance was first class. We were told by 2 other Agents that our property could take up to a year to sell in the current market as it had a more specialist appeal (small retirement property). Within 2 weeks James ensured we were getting viewings and an acceptable offer very close to the asking price within the first month. Many thanks also to Jayne who was an amazing help throughout. Unfortunately our Solicitor was a big disappointment, everything was by email and often unanswered plus 3 changes of Conveyancer during the process however Jayne breached the gap and kept us fully up to date, even contacting other Agents and Solicitors in the chain. I feel they provide a very experienced personal Service and would highly recommend this Estate Agency.

Professional, polite, very knowledgeable and very helpful.

I first met James when he knocked at my door 2 years ago asking if interested in selling my house.... i was unfortunately not dressed and even though tireless, this did not scare him off. Even though i was not looking at selling at that time, he looked round and kept in touch from time to time. When i finally sold, he fully realised the best result for myself and ultimately my family. He sold my house and negotiated on my behalf in many aspects that we're not usual estate agent requirements, but that is what makes James Gorey special. Not a normal estate agent. He adds his personal, polite and professional aptitude to his work.
